A progressive family farm
We’re a family farm of a little over 1000 acres formed out of the historic Ixworth Abbey Estate on the edge of the Brecklands.
We farm 800 acres for commercial crops, including malting barley and rye, aimed at the premium end of the commodity market.
We have always combined a traditional farming ethos and respect for nature with modern techniques to improve our yields, product quality and soils.
We welcome walkers and nature enthusiasts by appointment.
Today we are farming the regenerative system to reduce carbon emissions and further improve our soil health, and we integrate environmental features into our cropping.
We are actively farming 170 acres for exclusively for nature, including traditional meadows, river, ponds, hedges, new and ancient woodland.
